Alice's at the Springs & The Rusty Fox
The Mentone Springs Hotel offers two restaurants, with Alice's being open for dinner Friday-Saturday 6-9 and for lunch Saturday and Sunday 11-2. The Rusty Fox is open 7 days a week at noon.
Alice's was named in honor of one of the owners' grandmothers, and as an acknowledgement to Alice Mason, who as legend has it, named the town of Mentone. As the daughter of one of the original town founders, Miss Mason named the city Mentone after the French city of Menton, meaning "Musical Mountain Spring." As indicated by the name, Mentone is blessed with mineral springs that were believed to have healing powers. That tradition continues today as people come to Mentone to refresh, renew and restore mind, body and spirit.
The Rusty Fox was renovated in the 1980s to serves as a restaurant and a spot for locals and tourists to meet. Gourmet pizza was introduced in early 2013 to reinvigorate this wonderful forgotten place. The pub atmosphere and many of our talented local musicians always make for a great place to spend your evening. The Rusty Fox has live music every Friday and Saturday evening.
